"COTIDIANA VITAE"

Interpretation Center of Roman Life “COTIDIANA VITAE”.

The visit to the Cotidiana Vitae center will allow you to travel back to the 2nd century A.D. and walk through different public and private spaces of a Roman city.

Your visit to Cotidiana Vitae, always guided, will begin with different explanatory panels that will take you from the Roman Baetica, passing through the “Conventus Hispalensis”, to take you to the Imperial Italica.

Once in the forum, you will be immersed in the ancient streets of Italica through an audiovisual tour. You will walk along a Roman street visiting a market, the tavern and an outdoor school to reach the baths, which will recreate the virtual tour “The Roman Baths” (which won first prize in the category of virtual heritage, in the VIII International Competition of Digital Animation, SICARM 2011 in Murcia).

On the second floor you can visit the faithful recreation of a domus or Roman single-family house, with its courtyard or “atrium”, around which the kitchen, bedroom “cubiculum”, and dining room “triclinium” are distributed.

SATURDAYS 10:00 to 14:00 and 15:00/18:00 hours
OPENING SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS 10:00 to 14:00 hours

From July 16th to September 15th:

SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Groups and school groups can carry out their activities from Tuesday to Sunday, under previous reservation.
PRICES (GUIDED TOUR)*
GENERAL ADMISSION: 2,00€.
REDUCED ADMISSION (OVER 65 YEARS OLD AND RETIRED, LARGE FAMILIES, YOUTH AND STUDENT CARD): 1,50€.
FREE ADMISSION: RESIDENTS AND THOSE BORN IN SANTIPONCE, CHILDREN UNDER 5 YEARS OLD, UNEMPLOYED, DISABLED PEOPLE.
